HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - Police in Hartford say they have identified the suspect in a hit-and-run that left a 58-year-old woman dead.

Police say the woman had been crossing an intersection early Saturday when she was struck. She was taken to an area hospital where she later died.

Deputy Chief Brian Foley says video from traffic cameras helped officers determine who struck the victim. The suspect will likely be arrested by Sunday on charges of evading a motor vehicle crash.
