TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - Three separate shootings in New Jersey’s capital city have left three men dead this weekend.

Trenton police say the first shooting occurred around 9:20 p.m. Friday, when 43-year-old Anthony Flowers, of Pemberton, was found shot in the vestibule of a Lamberton Street home. He was soon pronounced dead at the scene.

The next shooting occurred around 2:30 a.m. Saturday on nearby Power Street, where officers found 40-year-old Shawn Harrell wounded in the street. He was taken to a hospital but died there a short time later

The last shooting occurred around 11:40 a.m. Sunday, when someone sitting in a vehicle apparently shot a 51-year-old man who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities say it doesn’t appear that any of the shootings are linked. But the investigations are ongoing.
