GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) - A South Carolina man is charged with murder in the death of his neighbor, who police say was stabbed during a fight between the two.
The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Sunday that 59-year-old David Goodine Jr. also is charged with possession of a weapon during a dangerous crime.
Records show Goodine was being held without bond Sunday at the Greenville County Detention Center. It wasn’t known if he has an attorney.
Investigators say the victim was chased across the street after the two had a verbal argument Saturday. He was stabbed at least once.
The name of the victim wasn’t released immediately.
