YORK, Pa. (AP) - A Pennsylvania man who was shot in the head last month has died of his injuries.
The York County Coroner said Sunday that 28-year-old Jamere Cherry died on Friday. He had been in the hospital for more than three weeks after being shot on Aug. 21 near his home in York.
An official cause and manner of death have not been determined. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
PennLive.com reports one man wanted for questioning in the shooting has been taken into custody by U.S. Marshals. Two other men are being sought.
