BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - A Billings man is accused of firing an assault rifle at three teenage boys who threw eggs at his house.

KULR-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2xtTXMC ) that Brandell Jamez Zavala is charged with felony criminal endangerment for the incident that happened July 11.

Court documents accuse Zavala of coming out of his home with an AR-15 and firing one round toward the boys as they ran away.

Police say Zavala refused to let officers in his home at the time of the incident and also refused to show them the gun. Officers say Zavala changed his story multiple times throughout the evening.

Booking documents do not indicate if Zavala has hired an attorney.
