RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - State and local authorities in North Carolina have arrested a man in connection with the disappearance of a man from a party in 2008.

The State Bureau of Investigation said in a news release Tuesday that 28-year-old Marvin Jordae Lewis is charged with accessory after the fact of first-degree murder.

According to the SBI, Craig Swain was last seen at a Super Bowl party in Creswell in Washington County in 2008. Earlier this year, the SBI and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office upgraded Swain’s case from a missing person to a homicide investigation.

Lewis, who was arrested on Monday, is being held in the Washington County jail under a $300,000 bond. It’s not known if he has an attorney.

Washington County Sheriff Johnny Barnes said more arrests are pending.
