NEW YORK (AP) - Authorities say a Westchester County man is dead and a teenage girl is injured following a motorcycle crash in New York City.

The crash occurred in Queens around 5:30 p.m. Monday when 42-year-old Matthew Rosenzweig, of Mount Vernon, lost control of his bike and smashed into a concrete barrier.

Police say Rosenzweig lost control after failing to navigate a curved exit ramp on the Grand Central Parkway. The motorcycle continued onto the side of the road and hit a 14-year-old girl standing on the shoulder.

The girl suffered foot and back injuries. She’s listed in stable condition.

Rosenzweig was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.

Police are continuing their investigation.
