BREMEN, Ala. (AP) - Five people have been arrested on methamphetamine charges following a raid in Alabama.

News outlets report the Cullman Narcotics Enforcement Team and Cullman police officers executed a search warrant on Monday. Cullman County Sheriff Matt Gentry says the raid yielded 16 grams of meth and drug paraphernalia.

The bust resulted in charges of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia for 40-year-old Lijah Blue Bryant, 38-year-old Bradley Allen Hill, 26-year-old Timothy Justin Kitchens, 42-year-old Elizabeth Ann Smith and 21-year-old Kristen Leigh Tarvin.

Gentry says community members who provide tips often function as the indicators of drug activity in the area.

All suspects were being held in the Cullman County Detention Center. It’s unclear if they have lawyers.
