WEST MILFORD, W.Va. (AP) - State Police in West Virginia have released the name of an Ohio carjacking suspect who was fatally shot by officers during a weekend manhunt.

Sgt. Mark Kiddy tells media outlets that 21-year-old Brian Ziro of Columbus, Ohio, had shot at Harrison County sheriff’s deputies along a bridge on Sunday in West Milford. Two deputies then shot Ziro, who died at a hospital.

Harrison County Sheriff Robert Matheny says three others who were with Ziro face felony fleeing charges. They are 20-year-old Jabraelyn Antonio Bunn and 18-year-old Jada Hilton, both of Canton, Ohio, and 18-year-old Jacob Hunter of Massillon, Ohio.

Matheny says the suspects’ vehicle wrecked in West Milford following a chase.

The races of Ziro and the deputies who shot him weren’t immediately available. Kiddy declined to release that information Thursday.
