DURANGO, Colo. (AP) - A 39-year-old Durango man who was out on bail for allegedly peeping into a women’s bathroom is facing new criminal charges in the stabbing of two men in a homeless camp near the city.

The Durango Herald reports (https://bit.ly/2xqdc7O ) that Hernando Tsosie was charged Friday with three counts of assault.

Authorities say he became upset with his ex-girlfriend on Aug. 27 because she’d been hanging out with two other men around her campsite.

Tsosie is accused of hitting, choking and kicking the woman and of stabbing one man in the thigh and another man in the hand.

He had pleaded guilty in July to invasion of privacy for peeping into the women’s bathroom at the Durango Welcome Center. He had been free on bail while awaiting sentencing.
