SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Police say one man is dead and two officers are hurt after a confrontation in downtown Salt Lake City.
Detective Robert Ungricht says the person was killed by police at the scene near a Maverik gas station Thursday afternoon.
The Salt Lake Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/2yKFkTm ) police did not immediately release the officers’ conditions, but said they were not wounded by gunshots.
