Child found dead in Milwaukee apartment was 4 years old

MILWAUKEE (AP) - Milwaukee police have identified the young child found dead and partially burned in a south side apartment building.

Police said Friday 4-year-old Antonio Distasio was found Thursday morning. A 23-year-old woman was arrested later Thursday. Investigators say the boy’s death is a homicide.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine a cause of death. Police gave no other details.
