TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Tucson police say a 43-year-old woman was the person killed when struck by a school bus when it veered onto a sidewalk after its driver passed out behind the wheel.

Police say the incident in which Kimberly Ebersbacher was killed while riding a motorized scooter Wednesday afternoon remains under investigation but that there’s no indication that speed or drug or alcohol impairment was a factor. Police said no citations have been issued.
