NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (AP) - Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a Connecticut apartment.
Officers responded to the home at around 8:40 a.m. Saturday in New Britain. The man was declared dead at the scene.
The medical examiner’s office has ruled the death of the victim, identified as 66-year-old Willie Woodson, of New Britain, a homicide. The office says it was caused by sharp force injury.
Police say the killing doesn’t appear to have been a random act and may have been drug related.
