PORTLAND, Maine (AP) - Jail authorities say a Maine woman charged in a fatal hit-and-run was released on bail.

Police say 32-year-old Natasha Field failed to stop after she hit 51-year-old Sharon Crawford in Westbrook Tuesday. Crawford later died.

The Portland Press Herald reports (https://bit.ly/2yOauJk) Superior Court Justice Andrew Horton set bail at $2,500 cash on Friday and issued an order preventing Field from driving.

Standish resident Field was silent at a Friday arraignment at the Cumberland County Courthouse. She was released on bail that evening. It wasn’t immediately clear if she had an attorney.

State motor vehicle records show Field has a history of driving infractions.

Field faces charges of aggravated leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident and violating a condition of release.

Police haven’t said what led to Field’s arrest.
