RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Authorities say a 9-year-old boy has died after being injured at a central Virginia railyard.

Local media report authorities responded to the scene in Henrico County, just outside Richmond city limits, around 3:30 p.m. Monday. The boy was taken to a hospital in critical condition and died shortly after 4 p.m.

Henrico County Police say they have no definitive answers about what happened, and an investigation is ongoing.
