BROCKTON, Mass. (AP) - A Massachusetts man is facing attempted murder charges after police say he intentionally set fire to a home with seven people inside.

The Enterprise (https://bit.ly/2w2f9Fa ) reports that 50-year-old Yvetteau Devilme has been charged with seven counts of attempted murder, arson of a dwelling and other charges in connection with the fire at a Brockton home Sunday morning.

Police arrested Devilme following the fire.



Authorities say the fire is being investigated as arson. They say his estranged wife lived in the home.

Police have not released further details on Devilme’s arrest. It was not clear when he would be arraigned.
