NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Police have arrested a suspect in a Labor Day shooting in South Carolina.
North Charleston Police Capt. Scott Perry told media outlets that officers were called around 6 a.m. Monday and found a man who had been shot. He was taken to a hospital where he died. His name has not been released.
Perry said 29-year-old Jeremy Louis Woods was arrested late Monday morning and charged with murder, first-degree burglary and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. It was not known if Woods has an attorney yet.
No other details were immediately available.
