FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (AP) - A woman has died after a drive-by shooting in eastern North Carolina.

Fayetteville police officer Asia Cannon said in a news release that officers were called to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center around 1:45 a.m. Tuesday.

A man told officers that someone in another car had fired several shots into his car. The man said he drove his female passenger to the hospital, where she later died.



Authorities identified the woman as 20-year-old Jasmine Monique Street. The man, identified as 26-year-opld Leo Cortez Johnson, was not hurt.

No arrests have been reported.
