FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (AP) - Authorities say one man is dead and a second man is in critical condition after a shooting at a North Carolina restaurant.

Fayetteville Police Sgt. Shawn Strepay said in a news release that officers were called to a restaurant shortly before midnight Tuesday.

They found two men in a car. Authorities say 18-year-old Dareon Cook was dead at the scene, while 32-year-old Jonathan David Goodman was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The men were found shot inside a car at the Smokey Bones restaurant.

No arrests have been reported.

This story has been corrected that police now say only one person is dead.
