KILLINGWORTH, Conn. (AP) - Connecticut police say they have found the man accused of shooting his way into a pharmacy so he could steal drugs.

Reed Sturman was taken into custody Tuesday morning after police traced him to an apartment building in Hartford.

Surveillance images show a man firing several shots with what appears to be an assault-style rifle into the front door and pharmacy area of Killingworth Family Pharmacy early Monday.

Police say the man stole drugs, but did not specify what exactly he took.

The store was closed and empty at the time.

The 26-year-old Sturman has been charged with first-degree burglary, criminal use of a firearm and criminal mischief among other charges. His attorney didn’t immediately respond to a request seeking comment on Wednesday.
