LEBANON, Tenn. (AP) - Two Tennessee inmates who escaped from a road work crew have been recaptured following a police chase.

Lebanon Police Department Public Information Officer PJ Hardy says 23-year-old Jordan Bradley Langford and 21-year-old Michael Wayne Flanigan Jr. were arrested Friday after they crashed into a Lebanon boutique. The Putnam County inmates fled on foot before being captured. Flanigan was bitten by a police dog and taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

News outlets report 20-year-old Malea Green-Paciunas and 23-year-old Edna Knight were found in the car and taken to the hospital for injuries sustained in the crash. They each were charged in connection with the escape.

The inmates were imprisoned for offenses including probation violation and face additional charges for the escape.

It’s unclear if the accused have lawyers.
