WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) - Trial has been delayed until next year for a man accused in a shooting in Williston last year that left two men dead.
Thirty-three-year-old Lamar Putney faces two murder charges in the May 2016 slayings of 24-year-old Diandre Lott and 23-year-old Donzell Washington at an apartment complex.
The victims who had come to the oil patch from Ohio died of multiple gunshot wounds.
Putney pleaded not guilty last November and was to stand trial this month. A 10-day trial is now scheduled to begin next Jan. 29. Putney could face life in prison without parole if convicted.
