MAGNA, Utah (AP) - Authorities say a 24-year-old man has been arrested in a fatal stabbing in Magna of a man known to the suspect.
The Unified Police Department says Jose Francisco Hernandez was arrested on suspicion of first-degree felony murder in the death Friday of 29-year-old Eugene Rowland.
Lt. Brian Lohrke says Rowland was found with multiple stab wounds at a gas station.
Lohrke says detectives are still trying to determine a motive but that the killing is not considered gang related.
Lohrke says Hernandez and Rowland knew each other and had past recent disagreements that investigators believe led to the deadly encounter.
