LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Authorities say two women were arrested after sheriff’s deputies found marijuana in their vehicle after a traffic stop in southeast Nebraska.

The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy spotted the vehicle following another too closely on Interstate 80 in western Lincoln shortly before 3 p.m. Wednesday. After it was pulled over, a drug dog taken to the scene sniffed around the vehicle and alerted a handler to the presence of drugs. Sheriff Terry Wagner says a search turned up 103 pounds (47 kilograms) of pot.

The two women traveling in the vehicle were arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana for sale. Online court records don’t yet show that they’ve been formally charged.
