TEMPLE, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire State Police say a driver has died in an accident in which the vehicle crashed into a tree and burst into flames.

Police say a 2015 Jeep Wrangler was traveling south on Route 45 in Temple at about 2:40 a.m. Friday when it left the road and struck the tree. Police said the Jeep bounced back into the road and then immediately became fully engulfed in flames.

Police said the driver’s identity is pending as the investigation is ongoing. They said speed may have been a factor in the crash.
