SPARKS, Nev. (AP) - Police say people broke into a gun store in Sparks by crashing a stolen car into the building.

Sparks police say the car rammed into the front of Sparks Black Rifle early Friday morning.

Police say officers were alerted to the crash shortly before 4 a.m. after a bystander came across the scene.

Police found the car abandoned inside the store. The car had passed through the glass front doors and the interior security bars.

Police say they believe the suspects stole guns, but the number and types were not yet known. Police were checking the store’s inventory Friday morning.
