CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Two women have been arrested in connection with a man’s overdose death in a Concord hotel room five months ago.
Forty-three-year-old Shea Black died on Nov. 25 after snorting what he believed was heroin.
The state medical examiner determined he died of “acute intoxication due to the combined effects of ethanol and fentanyl.”
The Concord Monitor reports that Jennifer Mitchell and Stephanie Mills were arrested this week on charges of sale of a controlled drug with death resulting.
Thirty-two-year-old Mitchell, of Concord, pleaded not guilty on Friday and was ordered held on $40,000 bail. Mills was taken into custody in New York and is expected to be arraigned in Concord on Monday. It was not immediately known if the women are being represented by attorneys.
