ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - An Albuquerque man is hoping to return more than 100 family photos, letters and documents that he found alongside a road to their rightful owner.

Ernest Baca tells KRQE-TV that he spotted the photos and papers as he was driving off slowly from the Route 66 Casino earlier this week.

He says some photos and papers date back as far as the 1940s.

He says the photos came from a money pouch that was also abandoned on the side of the road.

The only clues he has on their origin are the names Robert Stiff and Ross Kinkade written on an envelope and Illinois, a location written behind most of the photos.
