FARGO, N.D. (AP) - A 21-year-old man was arrested after leading police on a chase that reached speeds of more than 100 mph and ended in Fargo.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a trooper tried stopping the Enderlin man for speeding Saturday afternoon on Highway 18 about seven miles south of Casselton. KFGO reports that’s when the SUV sped away and headed east on Interstate 94.
Troopers twice used spike strips to stop the vehicle, but they were unsuccessful.
The 25-mile pursuit ended at Sanford Hospital where the man was arrested on possible charges of reckless driving, drunken driving, fleeing and driving under suspension.
