Police arrest man in death of South Kitsap man

BREMERTON, Wash. (AP) - Authorities say a man has been arrested in connection with the death of a 48-year-old South Kitsap man.

The Kitsap Sun reports the 38-year-old man was arrested Monday on suspicion of second-degree murder and was booked into Kitsap County jail.

The Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office says someone called 911 at about 8:40 p.m. Saturday reporting an unconscious, unresponsive man at a residence.

The sheriff’s office says a friend found the man and called authorities.

The names of the two men have not been released.

An autopsy has been scheduled for Tuesday.
