ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Anchorage police have released photos of a man suspected of releasing pepper spray on a group training for non-violent protest.

Anchorage television station KTUU reports the photos show a stocky man in his 50s or 60s with shoulder-length white hair, a long white beard and glasses. He wears black clothing and holds what appears to be a small, red purse.

The group met Saturday at Anchorage Community House and The Church of Love in on Spenard Road.

Organizer Joni Bruner says the door swung open and someone started spraying an orange spray.

Anchorage police say the people inside suffered varying degrees of discomfort and pain. City medics treated them for exposure to the spray.

None of the victims recognized the suspect.
