D.J. Moore has found a new home.

The Carolina Panthers took the Maryland wide receiver Thursday with the 24th pick in the NFL draft.

Moore is the first Maryland wideout to be drafted in the first round since Darrius Heyward-Bay in 2009. He’ll be paired with quarterback Cam Newton.

Moore is the reigning Big Ten receiver of the year. His draft stock soared after a strong performance at the NFL scouting combine.

Moore skipped his senior season to enter the draft.
