CHICAGO (AP) - A judge has ordered the release of dozens of documents filed in the case of a Chicago police officer charged in the shooting death of black teenager Laquan McDonald but he’s giving attorneys time to block out the names of witnesses.

WLS TV reports that Cook County Judge Vincent Gaughan made his ruling on Thursday in response to a motion filed by various media companies requesting access to the documents.

Attorneys are still arguing over the release of more documents that have so far been sealed and because of scheduling conflicts, Gaughan ordered them to return to court for a hearing on Saturday.

Officer Jason Van Dyke is charged with first-degree murder in the fatal 2014 shooting of McDonald.
