Seattle police investigating death of person hit by train

SEATTLE (AP) - Police in Seattle say they’re investigating after a person was hit and killed by a train.

Police say the person sitting on the tracks was struck just before midnight Friday by a Burlington Northern Santa Fe train.

Police say the person died at the scene.

The person’s name hasn’t been released, and train traffic has resumed.
