MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - West Virginia has signed junior college guard Jermaine Haley for next season.

Coach Bob Huggins announced Haley’s signing Monday. The 6-foot-7 Haley will have two years of eligibility remaining.

He averaged 10.2 points, 3.9 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game last season at Odessa College in Texas. Haley attended New Mexico State as a freshman and started in 15 games.

Haley is a native of Vancouver, British Columbia.

West Virginia needs to shore up its depth at guard after losing starters Jevon Carter and Daxter Miles to graduation.
