MIDDLETON, N.H. (AP) - Police say a dog in New Hampshire that had a run-in with a porcupine and got a face full of quills is doing much better.

The volunteer group Granite State Dog Recovery says the dog, Milo, was reported missing from Middleton, New Hampshire.

It posted before-and-after photos of his porcupine encounter Wednesday on Facebook.

The group said the dog is resting and on the road to recovery.
