COLCHESTER, Vt. (AP) - Nearly 19,000 customers in over 90 towns in Vermont are without power following a night of high winds, with gusts reaching into the 60 miles an hour in some areas.

Outages were scattered throughout the state Thursday morning.

The National Weather Service says the summits of both Mount Mansfield and Whiteface Mountain recorded 113 mile-an-hour wind gusts.
