KEENE, N.H. (AP) - Firefighters say a small fire in a Keene State College dorm room was put out by a sprinkler system.

The fire department was dispatched shortly after 10 p.m. Wednesday to the Pondside 1 Dormitory. There was no one in the room at the time of the fire.

The cause and origin are being investigated. Damage is estimated at $10,000.
