PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities say an Arizona man accused of killing his wife in Phoenix in 2013 during an argument has been arrested in Mexico and returned to the United States.

The U.S. Marshals Service says 28-year-old Ismael Perez-Barraza was on the run for five years after fleeing the Phoenix area following the killing of 21-year-old Sandra Perez.

The Marshals Service says Perez-Barraza was deported to the United States on Friday after being arrested Thursday in Culiacan in the Mexican state of Sinaloa.
