DICKSON, Tenn. (AP) - Officials are searching for an autistic and non-verbal 5-year-old boy in Tennessee.

News outlets are reporting the search for Joe Clyde Daniels entered its third day on Friday. Police and volunteers are searching a 2-mile (3-kilometer) radius around the child’s home in Dickson County in Middle Tennessee.

Police have used dogs and helicopters in the search, which began Wednesday. Firefighters are searching bodies of water in the area and volunteers are using GPS devises to look for the boy.

Dickson County Sheriff Jeff Bledsoe urges anyone who lives near the boy’s family to check any outdoor surveillance systems or game cameras for sightings of the blond-haired boy, who was last seen in black pajamas with a skeleton design.

The boy is about 4 feet tall and weighs about 65 pounds.
