LANDOVER — The Washington Redskins and the New York Jets all stood for the national anthem Thursday at FedEx Field.

The Redskins have a history of standing for the national anthem, except for Week 3 of last season when some players took a knee in response to President Trump’s comments after he said players deserved to be fired for protesting the “Star-Spangled Banner.”

Artist DC Washington performed the anthem.
