WARSAW, Ind. (AP) - The National Weather Service says a tornado with estimated peak winds of 90 mph struck the northern Indiana city of Warsaw, uprooting trees and snapping utility poles.
It says the tornado rated an EF-1 on the Enhanced Fujita scale was on the ground for seven minutes Monday night with a path 4 miles long and 50 yards wide.
The damage included tree debris into homes and cars and minor roofing and siding damage to some homes.
