DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - Federal prosecutors say a Des Moines man has been sentenced to 40 years in federal prison for child pornography convictions.

Prosecutors say 33-year-ol Raymond Wayne Eugene Hall was sentenced last week in Des Moines’ federal court. He had pleaded guilty in June to two counts. Investigators say he used a hidden camera to record himself engaging in sex acts with the victim. He also made some videos using his cellphone and stored them on his personal laptop.

Hall’s sentence was enhanced because he was a registered sex offender. He had previously been convicted in 2006 in Polk County of sexual exploitation of children for collecting child pornography.
