COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) - A man who fired at Boone County deputies from a stolen vehicle has pleaded guilty to several federal charges.

Russell Dean Moore of Fulton pleaded guilty to two counts of destruction of a motor vehicle, unlawful transport of firearms and receiving stolen firearms.

The Columbia Daily Tribune reports Moore had pleaded guilty in December 2017, but withdrew the plea before sentencing. A jury trial was scheduled for January, but Moore pleaded guilty Dec. 6.

Charging documents say Moore shot at the officers several times during a chase in April 2016. He also fired at four tractor-trailers on the highway before the chase ended. No one was injured.

A woman with Moore, Victoria Ann Buol, pleaded guilty in January to destruction of a motor vehicle and two coats of firearms charges.
