ASHBURN — TMZ posted a video of a fight between Montae Nicholson and a man, a day after the Redskins safety was arrested on charges of battery and assault and being drunk in public.
Nicholson, wearing a red hoodie, is seen striking a man while others try, unsuccessfully, to intervene. The 23-year-old safety lands a punch that causes the man to fall straight back.
On Tuesday, Loudoun County police responded to the report of a fight at the 20040 block of Exchange Street in Ashburn shortly before 2 a.m. Nicholson and another woman — Sydney A. Maggiore — were soon arrested after an investigation.
Nicholson was not at the team’s practice on Wednesday.
