MCDONOUGH, Ga. (AP) - Police say a Georgia man accidentally fatally shot an acquaintance.
Henry County police spokesman Capt. Joey Smith said in a Thursday statement that 24-year-old Ajai Darquez Allen was arrested and charged with involuntary manslaughter.
Police tell news outlets that Allen was holding a handgun when it went off at a home. The bullet struck the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
