Man accused of killing wife, father-in-law dies in hospital

FORT PIERCE, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a Florida man has died two days after fatally shooting his wife and father-in-law and wounding himself.

The Stuart News reports that 53-year-old Mark Holland died Tuesday at a St. Lucie County hospital. The sheriff’s office says he killed 84-year-old Rudolph Rehm and 58-year-old Renee Holland on Sunday at a Fort Pierce home.

Investigators say Mark Holland was arrested in a domestic violence case involving his wife in August, but the case was dropped because of lack of cooperation from the victim.
