WILLIMANTIC, Conn. (AP) - Police have arrested a Connecticut man they say posted a 36-minute video on Facebook in which he threatened child welfare investigators and a judge.

Fernando Irizarry, of Willimantic, was arrested Thursday and charged with inciting injury to persons or property, second-degree breach of peace and second-degree harassment.

State police started an investigation after a state employee reported an alleged threat against the Department of Children and Families in a Facebook Live post.

Investigators say Irizzary posted an article titled “Is It Ethical For a Parent To Kill a CPS Worker” along with a picture of a gun.

Police say Irizzary in the video said he was “craving blood” and threatened people by name.

He is being held on $100,000 bond. No defense attorney was listed in online court records.
