BEDFORD, N.H. (AP) - Police in New Hampshire say an officer in his cruiser attempting to stop a car that ran two red lights was hit by another vehicle and ran into a tree.
Police in Bedford say the officer and the woman who drove the vehicle that struck the cruiser were taken to hospitals Saturday night. The officer was treated and released; the woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The cruiser was considered a total loss.
